Chick-a-Biddy Hosts Atlanta Community Food Bank Charity Night on June 23



Step up to the plate and help the Atlanta Community Food Bank (ACFB) continue to support families and individuals in 29 metro Atlanta and north Georgia counties. On Monday, June 23, cancel any dinner plans you previously had and head to Chick-a-Biddy for drinks, appetizers or dinner after 5 p.m., and 10 percent of your tab will go to ACFB. If your taste buds are indecisive, some of our menu suggestions include piri piri wood-grilled chicken, fried chicken, blackened chicken burgers, falafels, veggie plates and even salads – and that’s just a preview.

Y’all Come to the Peachtree Road Farmers Market Second Annual Sunday Supper on June 22


The Peachtree Road Farmers Market will hold its second annual Sunday Supper at the Cathedral of St. Philips at 6 p.m. on Sunday, June 22. Food and drinks will be provided from a variety of Atlanta restaurants, a local bakeshop, cheesemaker and brewery, Willamette Valley Vineyards and more. Make your bid at the live and silent auctions and dance to the sounds of Sailing to Denver. Purchase tickets at the market or online (you will need to create a login) for $70. Proceeds benefit the Wholesome Wave Georgia program and their city-required police officer.

JCT. Bar Summer Bar Bash series is one event you don’t want to miss. The kick-off event takes place Saturday, June 21 at JCT. Kitchen & Bar alongside the Westside Provisions train tracks. Tap your toes to the sounds of opening band Moontower as they bring 60s, 70s and 80s beats back for a “Throwback Summer.” With an upstairs bar and Midtown skyline view, you will want to clear your schedule for July 5, August 23 and September 20 as the series continues. Visit the Bar Meatball food truck at the Morningside Phamily Jam concert at Sidney Marcus Park on Friday, June 20 from 6-8 p.m. Dig into classic meatballs with sauce, meatball sliders with fries and Italian-American pasta topped with meatballs. New Game-X Hours for Summer


You might be too old for summer camp, but youre never too old for Game-X. Now with new summer hours, you can fit a lot more game time into your days and nights. Your complete gaming experience can begin Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m.-10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m.-11 p.m. and Sunday from noon-10 p.m. Game-X offers more than 60 of the latest games, sports experiences, simulations and a few blasts from the past. After a few rounds of nonstop play, gamers can enjoy an American menu, craft beers, cocktails and wine. Now that’s the ultimate summer.

RA Sushi Bar Restaurant understands summer appetites and has rolled out a new appetizer and sushi and hand rolls available through September 30. Some of these exclusive menu items include lightly fried edamame wontons ($8), a seared dill salmon roll with cool cucumber, avocado and arugula topped with seared salmon ($11) and a shrimp-calamari tempura roll that incorporates cucumber, avocado and cream cheese topped with crunchy tempura and a drizzle of sweet eel sauce ($9.50). If that’s not enough, three of RA Sushi’s hand rolls from menus past are back by popular demand for $5.50 each. Before summer ends, try the spicy tuna hand roll, the chili ponzu yellowtail hand roll with chili ponzu sauce and the shrimp tempura hand roll with shrimp, kani kama crab mix, tuna mix, creamy wasabi sauce, avocado and cucumber.
